Design Services

At Nortech we work with builders, architects and building owners in designing a network infrastructure that will provide the platform upon which to build a network system. We utilize data, voice, video, and wireless technologies in designing a system that will work for our client. In designing network infrastructure we never assume that today's requirements will work for tomorrows challenges. As such we are vigilant in designing future capacity and expandability into all of our projects.

Our team of network specialists have been building networks for over 15 years and are adept at working in Northern BC's often severe conditions.

We design local area network systems that consist of CAT5, CAT5e, and beyond structured cabling systems. We work with hybrid voice, data, video network systems as well as Voice over IP installations as well.

Our systems are in place at Pulp mills, OSB mills, accounting firms, multi-unit residential complexes, municipal government offices, retail stores, and many others.

Installation Services

Our technicians are trained in CAT5, 5e, 6, 7, Fiber Optic, video, and wireless installation techniques. In addition to many years of experience our technicians have also completed and passed the British Columbia Building Corporations stringent requirements for Cabling installers. We provide complete new installation services, additions to existing cabling system, and repairs to non-performing systems. Our installation technicians utilize leading edge certification equipment from our equipment partners, Fluke and Microtest to ensure that the finished product will perform to the required specifications.

Depending on the clients specific requirements and the scope of the project we can design the system, install the systems, managed the installation of the system and test the system after the installation is complete.
